Virtual Environments

All models were made in Maya, and texturing done in Substance. The resulting scenes were compiled, lit and rendered in either Maya or Unity.

Bar Scene

I modeled, textured, and lit this bar scene for my final project for my class, Virtual Environments I. Everything, excluding the texturing (Substance Painter) was done in Maya.

Classroom for VR

Classroom01.png

This scene is from my internship at the Multimodal Interaction Lab where we research haptic feedback in virtual reality (VR). I modeled all assets in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and finally, compiled and lit in Unity (URP), with everything optimized for VR. This is one of a few scenes I made as a one to one digital replica of actual rooms in ECSS on the UTD campus. This scene was created for use in VR to connect the real and virtual rooms so those who are remote could interact with those in the physical room and vice versa.

Soda Shop

The Soda Shop environment was for my Collaborative Modeling Class, where I worked with four other people to get this project done in three weeks, including pre production. We split what needed to be done evenly. I did further concept art for the back of the turntable as well as modeled the AC's, wall phone, and a few other props in the interior. There was no texturing in this project aside from assigning greyscale shaders. All modeling, lighting, and rendering was done in Maya.
